I did it

I finally actually did it, I got rid of my internet at home and the one thing that I miss is catching up on everyones blogs. At the moment I'm sitting in the public library in Penrith and there was alot to catch up on.

I'm actually waiting for my car to be fixed, so have some time to kill, so thought I'd update whats been happening in my part of the world.
I actually got to play my first football game this past saturday, Dave, heath and I went and travelled to Wyong and it was a nice day when we left, about 15 minutes from the ground, a storm came over and it was raining so hard, we had to pull over to the side of the road as we couldnt see the road. After awhile we went on and it was still raining, so we were hoping the game might be called off, but it was going ahead, so we geared up and by the time we came back out, it had cleared up and turned out to be sunny and warm and no real water on the field to speak off, must be the sandy pitch we were on. I got to choose when I wanted to go on and come off, as the coaches know whats happened with me over the last year, so I spent my time running water, running messages and also being the goal umpire for the first half. When I came on the threw me on a wing and I got to run and run, luckily I had strapped myself up well and their was no ill effects from the game, but it was good to get back into it again.
I've also been doing abit of kayaking and bought myself a fishing rod, cant say I'm a marvellous fisherman though, I didnt catch anything, maybe it was something to do with the tides, thats my excuse anyways and I'm sticking to it.
I have a trip home at Easter for a few days, so it will be good to see everyone and hopefully I'll catch some fish with Eden, Im after a Cray.
I got home last wednesday and checked my mail and there was a letter from the nepean hospital, I opened it up and was very suprised. Just a month back I had rang the surgeons office who had operated on me last year and was trying to find out when I would get my next operation and was told it could be up to a year, so resigned myself to that and got back to life and football training. Well this letter told me they had a spot for me for the 18th, so i was suprised and rang work and told them and also rang the family. In my head I thought I had a a week and a half, but Lisa put me on track and we sorted it out and so today I have two appointments at the hospital and then tomorrow, I'm heading in for surgery again.
I'm excited and a little aprehensive at the moment, but it feels good to be doing something.
Anyways thats about me for the moment, if you've read this, hope your great
