Another Lazy Day

Wednesdays lately have been my market day, so today I popped back down to Penrith to get my fruit trees I've been after. Alas again there wasn't any, so I was a little bummed about that, so instead I wandered around and bought some sheet sets and also got some flowers for the garden.

I also dropped in to see the Rances as it's school holidays here and Cool Runnings was on. That movie always cracks me up, it's awesome.

After there I thought I'd pop home and put in the flowers but got side tracked and ended up at the shopping centre and burnt all my photos from my camera to disc and also did my grocery shopping.

Something I never got around to doing, which I've been talking of doing since I bought this place was painting. See the lovely colour on the walls!!! PEACH.. hmm, I need help picking colours I think, anyone got any good suggestions? Pic of living room included to jog the thinking !!

I like the natural colours with a feature wall - I actually like a dark feature wall - even like a browny colour (a nice one - not a poo one like Hawthorn brown!).

I'm with Kylie, but with a big-ass hawk in the middle, sort of like a feature wall!!!!

are those blinds pink? there's a problem right there...

I'm all for off-white (goes with anything) and then use your furniture and other stuff to add colour.

And get yerself a good old aussie garden gnome or 6 for that garden!! :)

My son, you do have good eyes :) They are a pink, now I look at them. Might have to get Dave to do something about them as well.

It was great chatting to you last night. Looks like you have had a busy day. As for the painting go for a neutral color. Our entire house was a pale green when we bought it. We have just finished painting it off-white, the color is Dulux Hogs Bristle and it has come up great and goes with everything. Now we just have all green blinds left to change but at least they don't clash with the walls in the mean time.
